Our prompted form will allow you to give us enough basic information to research the project and get the inquiry to the correct local representative.
Project Consultation
Underfoot Marine Products will reach out to you directly regarding your unique inquiry. To keep costs down and to improve efficiency we will typically not need to visit the boat to build the initial cost-basis of the project. This is the time where we become aligned on the rough pricing of a project and determine if we are going to work together.
Review Estimate
We will provide you with a project-specific estimate for your approval. This step allows us to schedule design services on custom projects (scan the boat) and may authorize fabrication/production of small, straightforward projects. Estimates will be revised following design completion on custom projects.
Complete Design
After a custom project has been scanned and drawn a revised estimate will be issued for customer approval – this will include actual square footage of SeaDek material. A proof will be included with the estimate. Approval will be required to move the project into fabrication.
Fabrication
Your custom SeaDek will be fabricated in New Bern, NC using SeaDek Mid-Atlantic (a SeaDek Certified Fabricator). Raw materials come to New Bern from the SeaDek facility in Rockledge, FL. Custom colors (non-stock) will be ordered on an individual project basis – this typically is a 4 week lead-time.
Installation
Your representative will communicate preferred install date when your project is entering fabrication. This communication will give you time to get your boat clean and ready for the install. On-location installs can be weather dependent of course.
Warranty
What’s the point of buying the best product on the market if you don’t have solid support after the sale? Underfoot Marine Products is the warranty administrator for your custom SeaDek project. Feel free to browse the SeaDek corporate warranty literature, but keep in mind that working with Underfoot will streamline any potential warranty claim, giving you a direct connection to SeaDek corporate. Please communicate any potential issues to your sales rep as soon as they arise. Things happen, but we have had warranty claims on less than 1% of our projects over the last decade.
